What Hyosung’s Product Changes Mean for Your Network
As we step into 2026, ATM compliance and long-term network planning remain a critical priority for financial institutions and ATM operators. Recently, Hyosung announced several updates to its product portfolio, including the discontinuation and end-of-life (EOL) status of a number of ATM models.
While change can create uncertainty, it also presents an opportunity to proactively plan, reduce risk, and future-proof your ATM fleet.
Here’s what you need to know — and how LD Systems can support you through this transition.
Understanding the 2026 ATM Product Changes
Hyosung has confirmed that several ATM models have now reached End of Life, while others are in a final-order or final-production phase. In practical terms, this means:
Some models are no longer available for new orders
Others can still be ordered for a limited time, subject to inventory availability
All discontinued models will continue to be supported under Hyosung’s 8-year servicing commitment
This ensures continuity for existing installations, while encouraging a gradual transition to newer, compliant technologies.
Models That Have Been Discontinued
The following models are now discontinued, with limited or no availability for new orders:
MX5200SE (inventory exists with LV1 safe configuration)
MX5200 (NDC)
MX5300S / MX5300SE
MX5600/T
MX7800 T/D/I (all non-Chase specific units)
While these products are no longer being produced, Hyosung will continue to provide servicing and support for up to 8 years post-installation.

Operational continuity
Security and fraud prevention

Proactively transitioning to supported, next-generation models reduces long-term risk and avoids last-minute upgrades that can strain budgets and resources.
